Both the biblical text and Jesus point to the judgment of God at the day of the Lord as something for us to fervently hope for.
The current state of our world is not OK.
We are currently surrounded by wars that never end and the evil that was revealed in the Epstein files.
Our world needs to be made right.
This is where Jesus and the Day of the Lord come in.
Many expect an epic battle where Jesus will fight the dark forces with some sort of military Campaign.
The biblical truth is that Jesus is already victorious over all dark forces including our own sin.
And he did not accomplish this with a bloody military campaign.
Today let’s figure out why so many of us get the day of the Lord wrong and let’s prove once and for all that this is the ultimate hope for us as believers.
It’s not the end of all things
As we always say
Because of Jesus
The beginning is near.
In order for us to set the record straight we really must understand the word apocalypse and the genre of apocalyptic literature that surrounds these motives of Armageddon and the day of the Lord.

So “the beginning is near” feels right. The world is not okay, but the answer is not panic or waiting for a secret disclosure. The answer is to participate now in the kind of world Jesus is bringing: truth, mercy, courage, faithfulness, and love.
One Love.
But they should have understood that Jesus was the final offering needed.
A day like no other.
The Sword of the Lord shall go out as it were on the day of battle. It is full of the fatness of the evil that has been done to his people.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (KJV)
This, 24 ...if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matt 24:24 (KJV), shows that the world is deceived. If the true sons(elect, hot, prophets) of God are scarcely kept from being deceived, then you are indeed deceived.
@ 0:52 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen...1 Cor 1:26-28 (KJV)
And
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Luke 6:26 (KJV)
Amen
@6:41 "yeah, in the RevelationS ..."
I'm reminded of Chuckles Missler saying “it's NOT Revela-SHUNS, it's Revelation, Revelation“. and I would always picture a braying ass, thinking it had scored a major point, while ignoring the original title "The Revelation of Jesus Christ". People say RevelationS because that reflects the collective nature of the text : many RevelationS, so GET OVER IT
9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? Gen 37:9-10 (KJV)
The sun, moon, and stars are obviously symbolic, they represent the three major powers (nations) of the given 1,000-year day. Their brightness denotes the order of hierarchy. Today’s nations are U.S.A.=sun, Russia=moon, and China(red dragon)=stars. China will start WWIII bringing final judgement of the remaining 10 tribes (“stars”). Russia will be destroyed (“the moon as blood”). U.S.A. (“sun darkened”) will be the only nation with relatively any power left.
All glory to God. Amen
