You can’t say it enough! ABSOLUTELY NO to extensions!  I have super fine thin hair…tried extensions 2x because I wanted to avoid ugly stage.  Took ALL my hair out!

Thank you for the video. I have fine strands with average density.  I would love to see a video about sisterlocks with average density and fine strands. I don't think I've ever seen one from a loctitions viewpoint.

I have low density hair and my loctitian wanted me to have microlocs/sisterlocs for volume. I stuck to my first mind and went with small traditional.

i have been wearing micro locs for a year and 2 mos from 12/5/25 and love it .. i started to do myself and 16 yr old grandson.. easy i wash mine 1 x every mo and relock 2 mos

Thanks! I have fine low density hair and preparing to loc so this information is much needed.

She ain’t lying about loc extensions on fine hair. I recently cut off my loc extensions and my hair is horrible. I lost so much hair that I’m going to have to shave my head. Please, please don’t do it. 😢

Aw shucks I sure did this 😂 I didn’t know when to stop, it was long and in the way!

Thank you for your advice

Thanks for the video, Pauline

Thank you. This was very good information.

Thanks❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm considering locing my fine natural hair. However, because the center top of my head is where it is the lowest density. I can have the same size part in another section, but the two-strand twist or braid will be thicker. Am I a candidate for locs, and if so, will it look strange if the locs are thicker in the more dense sections of my hair even though the parts will be the same size?

Where are you located?

Her locs are so tiny and beautiful…but that’s a lot of open space in her crown that she should have thought about which size locs to get. I have microlocs kind of think I should have went with sisterlocs as I wanted smaller and more in my head.  But I also have I’m guessing high density hair as my hair would be considered “thick” with no open spaces really on my head.  The pocketbook kind of pushed me to microlocs and I wanted to see how two strand twists would transform to locs. I do have very small microlocs and more than the average person would have and would have more when my front hairline grows back in…🙏🏾

What is the machine you using on her head?

Thank you for this post Pauline, I am looking forward to this information

Is it ok to do cores with thin fine hair to start off your Microlocs?

Hi Pauline how is your sister'hair by unraleving the ends? What about this technique does it work? Does it damage the locking process? ...

i have fine hair with medium density i dont think micro locs is for me

😢😔

What about bleaching before install for this hair type?
