I came on vacation.

After a few days of enjoying the sea, sun, and beach, I got bored and set out to explore the ancient city of Antandros.

First, I learned that what I thought was an ancient theater was actually a modern structure. Then I went to the real Antandros... but the ancient city was closed due to excavation and restoration work.

After somehow managing to get lost, I found myself in the necropolis of Antandros.

Here, we're discussing archaeology: tombs dating back 2,500 years, changing burial customs, an ancient road, coins found in the tombs, and artifacts from children's graves.

Plan: Ancient city.
Result: Necropolis.

It was beautiful, though.

We'll continue exploring these strange places, stories, and my unnecessary curiosities.
