To every comment about how to survive, in reality, this is coming from an SCP nut (no pun indented) if a scenario like this were to happen these are what you should do.
1- Get electronic devices not capable of showing notifications, but instead broadcast. The reason, hackers, and the CI, both could show a photo of SCP - 096. 2- Hide in a open room, with a complicated layout, throw things around, do everything to make it so you can't walk easily. Why, SCP - 106 has a hard time going into rooms like that. 3- LOCK YOUR DOORS! BOARD THEM OFF! DO ANYTHING TO PREVENT SOMETHING FROM ENTERING THROUGH A DOOR/WINDOW! ANOMALIES ARE SMARTER THAN YOU THINK! 4- Make sure you have a closet, or something else to hide in in the worst case scenario. 5- Cover your windows. SCP - 001 "When day breaks" Is impossible to avoid, but prolonging your, antideath is the best thing to do. 6- Sleep under your bed. This way if an anomaly like 173 gets in, it won't be snapping your neck. 7- Get first aid kits. If you injure yourself, you've gotta heal. 8- Get a cooler, your drinks might go bad if its Gatorade or a sports drink like that. 9- Get LOTS of food, you need it to survive. 10- Bring something for entertainment, you don't want to go insane. 11- Last but not least, stay in contact with friends and family.
tips for surviving an SCP lockdown (or any lockdowns in general):
1: always get a med kit. it's best if you have one of those on hand since it's fucking universal. also a lighter! some SCPs loathe the light and heat, it's also convenient to set off traps and stuff with a lighter. 2: water. prioritize your water. thirsty? DRINK! it's alright if you stay hungry for a while, but never thirsty. don't ration it too much, it's a very crucial thing in your survival. dying of dehydration is faster than you think. 3: bring a phone, earphones, a charger, a flashlight, a pocket wifi, and a powerbank. and your laptop if you can. this is to assure that you have some form of contact with the outside world. 4: bring a big, sturdy, backpack no matter what. sturdy backpacks will last long to hold your supplies. 5: keep a weapon with you all the time! a knife, and gun- just any weapon, because in the times you lost your supplies, a weapon and your wits will be the only things keeping you alive. 6: bring canned foods, and screw capped bottles. avoid bringing chips and snacks with plastic packaging, some SCPs have abnormally good hearing, and definitely hear you opening that bag of chips. also, salty food will dehydrate you faster, so it very unrecommended. it's also very messy to eat, better bring a can of tuna or tomato soup. 7: bring a basic set of utensils when you can. 8: if stuck in a house, hide in the bathroom or attic. somewhere windowless, but also have a good path for escape. 9: if you are a female- bring pads instead of tampons. tampons needs to be changed every 2 hours, and pads can last a whole day. sure, it's messier, if you seriously don't wanna use pads, find a menstrual diaper or smth. 10: stay quiet NO MATTER WHAT! as I said, some SCPs have incredibly inhumane hearing, so your survival depends on you keeping quiet. 11: avoid attracting attention. 12: contact the SCP Foundation or the government if you have some useful information on the escaped SCP's whereabouts or behavior. this will help immensely on the capture and containment of the escapee./contact the government if you have some useful intel about survivor camps and such once rescued. 13: educate on the SCP. educate and adapt. remember that. the internet is a mine full of information. 14: don't stick around in one place. constantly move places. 15: once you have secured a rescue, stay at or near the rendezvous. if they don't show up an hour after the agreed meeting time, leave! if an SCP locates you, run or hide! but try to stay near the place. 16: keep in constant contact with your rescue or other survivors. keep them updated on your whereabouts. 17: educate on how to evade, or to "tame" the SCP. this will come in handy. 18: don't trust anybody. 19: don't enter IKEAs. you evaded the escapee SCP, but you got stuck in another, the SCP-3008. bad luck, since there's no rescue in this one. it's good luck if it's SCP-001, When Day Breaks, happen, but nah if it's other SCPs. 20: avoid using cars as much as you can. you'll have an easier time hiding, and besides, many SCPs can easily out run a car.
this tips list can work for any SCP Lockdown. it can also be useful for any irl lockdown that involves an unknown entity.
