Short and to the point, I'm skating with my Statis Hunter right now because of this video, thanks for posting!

For anyone who this might help:
Load up a private crucible map on Eternity and turn the heavy ammo regen to infinite and use the open side of the map to practice.

I would highlight that in the button layout to make sure ‘Air Dive Ability’ is set to ‘press’ rather than the ‘long press’ selection. After I switched that, it worked for me 👌

managed to do it after 20 minutes of trying after watching this

i only started D2 during the final update to play with my partner, if i can you can too ‼

Fun fact you can shatter skate off tiny ice crystals  made from maks of fealty shurikens

Its sounds so easy and i couldnt never make it work 😂😂

You can ground skate without a ledge. Different inputs, and doesnt go as far, but still useful

Thank you!🤙🏽

Did it like 5th try super easy

Trick: don’t spam click the binds just klick once but quickly and you’ll get it otherwise put in a macro

Between the down and up of a click just put 30-50ms delay

You can "water skate" or "ground skate" if you're able to hit the jump button followed by the normal light attack -> jump -> shatterdive.
Since you're in the air, light attack is the only way to pull this off. You don't go as far as heavy shatterskate.  This is required because heavy attack in the air doesn't shoot you forward.
It's easier to do in water that you can walk on top of but it is possible to do this without a ledge.  I just find it very difficult myself to pull off.  I have a macro set up for it and it still fails quite a bit.  You need to be on level ground or if you're not on level ground, you need to time it based on the slope correctly.

I made a keybind macro out of this, work every single time. You should learn to do this manually, don't be a lazy bump like me😁😁

How would this be done with a controller running the sequence like in a flydigi vader5pro?

Is there a tech to skate after a rocket jump on warllock, or am I stuck just using normal eager edge with icarus dashes?

can you do this with the void hunter dive?

Does strand skating go further than shatter skating? And do sword archetypes matter for distance?

Anyone know how to get the slammer with eager edge now💀

does this work with any sword with eager edge because im strugglling

So for some reason, I've suddenly found that I can't skate anymore lol. I know all the inputs, and I've been skating since the tech came out, but for some reason it just... isn't working. My inputs are correct, my timing is correct, but it just doesn't work anymore for some reason

Do you need stompees for this to work or no?

TURN OFF AUTO MELEE!
