A Borisov-Musatov exhibition has opened at the Tretyakov Gallery in Kadashi, and it's not just a boring display of old paintings.

The artist lived only 35 years, endured ridicule from critics and ordinary people, but despite all this, he created one of the most enigmatic worlds in Russian art.

In this video, we'll walk through the gallery's halls and discover why his melancholic canvases still captivate collectors.
I'll show how the ethereal magic of the Silver Age was born from prosaic everyday life and poverty.

No tedium, just the underbelly of creativity and the pure joy of painting.

Tell us in the comments: is this genius or just a contrived cult? Enjoy!

They say an artist must be hungry, but a well-fed blogger edits videos much faster.
