If Chris Marshal runs climb route after climb route or dig route then it will be a clear indicator that our scheme is an issue and the rigidness of it…which means we can’t adjust and are essentially cones back there for the OC to move around to get what they want. If you line up like cones you will get treated like cones

Billy the angle issue at Safety is because what we are asking of our safeties …. We don’t tie the nickel to the box, which in turn, creates the situation that one of the two deep safeties will have to be tied to the box to get the 7th defender. that safety either has the c gap ( the edge) or even worse situations the b gap. But in both those situations the safeties are creeping down towards the box tight to help in those situations. So any time the play either bounce or runs to the edge the  angles that the safeties take essentially put them in situations that they are out leveraged which is why they look slow. The other thing I will say is every year 2024, 2025, and 2026 our coverage schemes have not changed. Bateman and Hemphill both ran a lot more concepts other than match coverage at other stops….which leads me to believe Elko might let them “run” the defense but dictates the coverages that will be ran. Which isnt crazy to say since his background on the defensive side is the back end. The only difference from 24/25 and 26 is the front end alignment (weak Eagle to over front). Both Bateman and Hemphill in those situations can only make so many adjustments because if Coach Elko coverages need the nickel to be detached from the box…you are working with your hand tied behind your back. So either Coach Elko needs to take over completely or take his hands off completely because asking a coach to work within his system when some of their potential answers are taken off the board. Because of that situation, you are doing that Coach a disservice by limiting their options to correct the issue. IMO.

Can y’all please cut the first chunk of nothing in the video?

What is the point of the first part of the video with just the music. A tactic to make more money?

We knew it went wrong when LSU and Kiffen and others got the top portal class.  It ain't hard to see that.  Elko slept walked thru portal period and we lost out.  Was that extension, laziness, just pure ineptness.

The Defense is lacking a leader like York, to command the D and set tone!
Offense is missing QB to lead and set the tone

OC  hire was incredibly lazy and dumb. Everybody knew it when he did it. Marcel was limited last year and you definitely didn't need to take a step down in coaching. Oline had to be completely rebuilt, so you didn't need to go with a long shot at OC. 4-4 since Elko signed his retirement contract.

The Wiggins hire was the dumbest decision Mike Elko has ever made as a football coach. It will lead to the end of the Elko era at A&M.

Don’t worry about poor O Arkansas

When does aggy fire elko?

Thinking A&M is Arkansas' super bowl is delusional. You're not Texas or LSU.  It's not even a fun matchup like Ole Miss or a grudge match like Missouri. This will probably just be another weird game in the SEC iteration of this much longer series...where both sides  always thought of Texas as the more relevant foe. I'm rooting for the Hogs but I expect them to lose on a last second strange play.
