Bruce Lee’s advice. I don’t fear the man who has learned how to kick 10,000 ways. I fear the man who has learned to kick one way and practiced it 10,000 times.
Wow! In my humble opinion this self defense martial art is very good and im very impressed its like the mma of self defense theres alot of other disciplines arts and defenses which has been adapted for modern today and reality i also wonder why so many have made bad and negative comments about it i know there are always haters and critics who will have their opinions but ive seen alot of other self defense arts which are worse and not even on this level...
In my humble opinion. I am not taking away anything from anyone Maestro has been around along time. I respect his advice and his beliefs and other practitioners of martial arts . For me everyone should Always be aware of your surroundings any where anytime. Walk with a proper posture make the brief eye contact let that potential attacker out there “yeah I see you” The combatives I learned in the military had one primary goal is Close the Gap between you and your attacker immediately if running is not an option in a street fight and your AOV- Action of Violence. All revolving around a street fight. Inflicting as much violence on your attacker as quickly and violently as possible The same in CQB Man handling a drunk at a club is one thing Closing the gap in a street fight, using gouging, elbow, arm lock to stop stabbing. Adam’s apple Throat grab, knee to the face. To me and just saying Punching someone in the thigh? (Really) You have the Achilles’ tendon right there Kick as hard as you can repeatedly at both ankles. The base of the spine knee repeatedly The groin hammer fist Stay off the ground as much as possible If you take your attacker off balance then you are off balance. You go to the ground and don’t know what to do , you WILL get stomped severely. In CQB Get in tight for the fight . Gun up, proper stance, elbows in, ready to react to an effective opportunity Dominate the situation it does not dictate Action of violence will get you through. I do not have martial arts training, boxing or wrestling. Just a guy that grew up in the Bronx NY and managed to make it through 18yrs Infantry And this is Just in my humble opinion. Stay save , God bless
There is a difference between fighting to win (Ring) and fighting to survive (street). Love the explanations and the techniques shown in the video. Camera person could've done a better job but thank you!
He is teaching PANATUKAN (dirty boxing) with his own flavor. Beginning of the art is to learn weapon and translate to hand. He should start with that, student to learn hands and eye coordination. If you don’t see it or see it, practically JKD applications.
