I remember visiting family in Louisiana and we were all watching this fight on PPV. I was 13 at the time. Great memories.

Really good slug fest. Enjoyed this one like back in the days of great fights of the 70’s 💥

Tyson was a shadow of the fighter that he once was by this fight.
No longer prepared to live the life that a top fighter needs to live. No longer prepared to train hard and work on his skills.
Sure, he did the best he could on fight night, but absolutely everything taught by Cuz and Rooney had been discarded and all that was left was a crude, easy to hit, slow slugger.

Ruddock era un zurdo muy peligroso , y en su época muchos grandes boxeadores le descartaron , entre ellos Holyfield , qué dos peleas tan buenas nos brindaron , buen vídeo amigo , tienes un nuevo suscriptor español , saludos

You gotta love Mills Lane. He doesn't take any bs from these two monsters.

It's so sad watching this. The super hungry, Rooney-trained Tyson we saw for stretches in '86-'88 would've destroyed this guy in 4 rounds (and Ruddock is a great pro). It's like he's in quicksand. None of the classic peakaboo head movement and flanking, no vicious 3-5 punch combinations in under a second, and getting hit left, right and center. If Cus stayed alive for 10 more years Tyson would've been the greatest of all time. I can just hear him watching this: "he's a bum Mike! A BUM!"
