Wow, how rude! So many of the comments are derogatory. He’s just demonstrating what he does? He doesn’t have to share his technique with anyone, but he did! Give the guy a break 🙄

If you don’t have a custom fiberglass shell for the mold, you can put the latex mold in a bucket and put sand around the mold so that it can’t deform.

A really cool trick is to put the old on a pece of plywood. Thenhold a running palm sander on the plywood to vibrate the air bubbles out and get the cement into all the crevices....

Nice detail on the rabbit fur for being concrete, Nice.

You have the voice of an old and wise wizard. 😄🧙‍♂

FYI
Cement is the fine gray powder.
Add water it becomes slurry.
Add any aggregate (sand, rocks, broken glass, perlite, etc) it is concrete.
Spent my entire adult life working with this material, I find the need to make it clear.
Thx.

The bunnies are so precious. This is so interesting. Wanted to do this in my younger years, 50 years ago.  Now to old. But if I had a big property I would have these all around

Very helpful video.  It gave me all of the information I needed to get started with this as a new retirement hobby.  I had already done some basic reading on this, but it is much easier to fully understand with a video of someone actually doing it.  I will start with some of the very small, basic and less expensive molds, then work up to more complex projects as I learn.

That’s amazing detail from a poured casting. Thanks for sharing your techniques with us!

Great video. A clear and no nonsense presentation. Hope to see more.

You didn't mention how long you let it dry in the mold before removing it.

I love that mold you used! Such beautiful detail.

These bunnies are fantastic!! Great to the point demonstration!
Thanks so much👍🏻

Thank you for this excellent tutorial. Your work is amazing.

No need to shake the mold, simply tapping on the sides or a  small vibrator, will work. Especially for bigger molds, that are heavier.
Tam's other half

A video showing how to make the fibreglass support would be very helpful as it seems from your guidance to be a fundamental part of a successful cement statue project.

Have you made one of these videos, please?

Love this!   I swear, I saw one of the rabbits blink :)  Your vid has inspired me to make a bird bath or maybe even something in which to hide a key outside.

Love it! 5
Thanks!

Looks great. May be my retirement hobby...

How sweet! Thank you.
