Wow I´m from San Jose and I never get to see the streets when a hurricane hits, just busy taking care of home and family, thanks for documenting this and other storms, pretty sick and cool job man! But stay safe always

This was a great video. I live in San Jose. We lost power at 6pm storm night for 3 days. You were right in saying this hit us faster and harder than anyone had imagined it would.

Al norte de San José del Cabo (Zona de Las Veredas) tuvimos calma hasta después de las 9, alrededor de las 9:15 p.m.
Fueron más o menos 4 horas de viento muy intenso.

My husband and I were at the Riu Palace Baja California . Olaf came to visit on my 2nd day at the resort. The surf was an amazing but scary sight. We had to be back into our rooms by 7:30 pm and I have amazing videos of how strong the wind was. Luckily it was pretty much over by midnight. San Jose got most of the impact.

These videos are awesome but wish they were longer. I love watching the full progression of the hurricane.

Vivo en San José del Cabo... Mi familia y yo agradecemos por la espectacular imagen que lograste captar. Nosotros nos refugiamos en otra casa, solo perdidas materiales.

Amazing video there, I'm impressed that the NHC pressure estimate and your pressure observations in the eye matched really good

Been so caught up in volcanism lately that I missed this one entirely. Cyclones are forever on my altar of coerced respect, but no sequence of cyclonic activity could end modernity.
What do Fagradalsfjall, Cumbre Vieja, and Etna portend? What does it MEAN to MEAN something?
Probably nothing! But air in our atmosphere has a speed limit unto itself unless propelled by something far worse than air can manage alone.
AWESOME video, dude. He was no Odile, but he was worth the trip!
