How to get to Moraine Lake in Banff National Park!!! I have been to Moraine Lake quite a few times, and since 2023 you can no longer drive your personal vehicle up to Moraine Lake to visit (with a few exceptions). There are a few different ways to visit Moraine Lake now (that you definitely should plan in advance of your trip!) and in this video I walk you through each choice. When you go to book, if something is sold out, watch for cancellations or try a different option! Visiting Moraine Lake is definitely worth the trouble - I've visited all of the popular lakes in Banff and it is definitely my favourite one. Impossible to book the parks canada shuttle,i have tried 2months ago,no availabilty.keep trying every day,no luck.with a private bus company is a rip off

Hi Kat, thank you for the great video! I have one question. Is it possible to buy the ROAM Super Pass, but drive to the Lake Louise Lakeshore parking and use the connection bus there? That way I can save some time maybe.

How do you suggest us to visit both lakes if we would like to go with one of the shuttle bus companies? We would also like to add hikes in the same day. Still confused how to do this. Thanks.

Great information, thank you! I have reservations for July 20-22 for Paradise Bungalows & Lodge. We are wanting Sunrise shuttle. I tried 4/16th calling parks Canada but I was in a plan mid flight and couldn’t even get service to book online and calling they only had afternoon times left. I’m thinking of a private shuttle. Moraine Lake Bus co or Fairview Limo company. We wanted to hike Moraine and canoe then go back to Lake Louise for afternoon tea, hike canoe and watch sunset.

Okay but if I don’t have a car cause renting those is insanely expensive, how can I get from banff to the lake Louise ski village? I leave in a week 😭😭

Hello, I just want to ask something. So I booked the super pass from banff to lake louise and plan to go to moraine lake using the connector shuttle. My question is, do I need reservation when we want to go back to banff from lake louise lakeshore on the same day using the super pass? Thank you

Hello @itskatanderson, I want to visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise on the same day, so watching your video and information see that the only option to do this is with Parks Canada Shuttle that has the option departing from Lake Louise Ski Village or the Alpine Start departing from Lake Louise Lakeshore, there is no option with Parks Canada departing from Banff and make the transfer or connections between both parks? Thanks.

If we choose Via Via … what is there to do in lake louise? Just want to see if we have to extend the pick up time to later or if 1 hour is fine. Also, if we pick the 9am pick up instead of sunrise would there be a lot of difference in terms of crowd?
