The world has fallen under the control of the Shinra electric power company, a shadowy Corporation controlling the planet's very life force as Mako energy. The amount of spin offs they used in FF7 is unreal. Hundreds of hours of world building condensed into 3 hours. Thank you so much for compiling this 🙏

Time to pause and make myself a cuppa.

My condolences for your late husband, may he be at peace in the planets embrace ❤

Important bit of Zack lore (just as important as the Aerith ribbon): he's the one who picks the Seventh Heaven bar name. Also, Zack is a Project S Soldier, which means he received Jenova cells and loads of Mako, just like all the other Soldiers not named Genesis and Angeal. This is why when Cloud and he were taken for experimentation, the Sephiroth cells Hojo used did nothing to him. The Jenova cells were too strong and fought them off. He was considered a failed experiment for that reason. Cloud, however, having never been a Soldier, was too weak and was considered unlikely to revive from the toxicosis of Mako poisoning. However, we know that he does wake up. His body and willpower were just strong enough to prevent him from becoming a mindless 'reunion' black robe, but not strong enough to prevent Sephiroth from having control over him.

It's weird thinking back that the first video I ever seen of this channel was a lore explanation of the MGS franchise maybe a decade or so ago now. Thanks for all the memories

Oh man this has connected so many of the "random side characters" in remake/rebirth that I just didn't understand with my knowledge of mostly just OG7, CC, and AC

Thisnis without a doubt the most comprehensive history video of the original compilation i have heart.
Infact, only one event was missing; the ppanet releasing jade weapon to hunt down the turks that defeated zirconiade, since it viewed them and their power as a potential threat following their victory over the "ultimate summon".
