as a beginner who just bought a plunge router on a yard sale, I'm so grateful for this video

The last thing you said about the pushing of the router and not pulling towards oneself saved me a lot of danger. I owe you much respect.

You get the feeling it’s your first day on the job and Justin is prepping you 👍🏻😊

THIS is the tutorial I’ve been searching for, a true beginners video, so many others assume you already know some stuff, and leave you with questions, and frustrated, I am feeling confident now to begin routing! Thanks heaps

I just bought a Bosch non-plunge old used router just to do my own house wood work. When I saw it in the used tools shop and looked at the wooden knobs, it reminded me to my grandfather who was a fine carpenter. I had no idea how to use it, went from video to video until i found this one GREAT TUTORIAL FOR BEGGINERS. As one of the commentors wrote, now I have no fear to use it. My first “monster” to tame was a Milwawkee industrial wood saw.  This old Bosch router will be next. Thanks to others for their helpful comments and THANK YOU for this great tutorial!!! 🌸🌸🌸

This guy is off th charts (in a good way) learnt so much off a 17 min video! Very clear and concise brother. Keep up the good work. From Aus 🙏🏾

Cheers for the tips mate..
All The Best...

I've searched for a video on router basics and most I watched left lots of questions unanswered. Not so in your case.  This is an excellent 'beginners' tutorial covering all the basics. Thanks!

I’m a router user but a refresher  is always worth watching

Just what I needed!  Very well done, thanks!🎉

My Grandad taught me how to use his moulding plane, which I've always used. It does need a bit of skill and effort and does have some limitations, so I've had a hankering for a router. Now I have a job rebating the edge of some flooring in-situ in a doorway which really would be difficult with just hand tools so I need to take the plunge (!) and get up to speed (!) with a router. Many thanks for this introduction, it has helped greatly.  By the way; one further tip, if I may suggest, for using a power tool on a cable; check the wire has enough slack and is not going to pull tight as the tool is moved through the working stroke, or worse get pulled into the cutter. Rehearse the move.

Justin I have just bought a router and tbh I was a bit nervous about using it, saying that, watching your beginners guide has certainly given me more confidence in using this tool. So thank you very much..😃😃😃😃😃

Thank you, my friend, for producing this great video.
I'm a woodworking hobbyist. A router is a fearsome piece of kit, with the potential to cause serious injury and damage if not used properly and with care and sense.
Thank you for your kindness and the lengths of consideration and care you've gone to for people who, like me, found this a lethal, dangerous piece of kit to use.
God bless.

This was very very helpful. I've just bought my first router and this video has helped me get up to speed on the most important information that a beginner should have.

You, sir, are a very talented communicator.
You are not only giving accurate and in depth information, you are actually doing so in a very engaging way.
I didn't even notice I was 10 minutes into the video, it felt like it had just started!

Best beginner plunge router video on youtube.

Best tutorial I've seen so far. Just got a router.

Just got an Erbauer router after having promised myself one for years. This is a brilliantly clear tutorial. Thanks.
