I met Dean Martin in 1977, when he had an insurance physical at Dr. Shapiro,MD . I worked there and had the privilege of doing his EKG, x rays and blood work. I believe he was going to renew his TV show contract. He was a little late and it was a Saturday which we came in jußt for him. It also happened to be my sons birthday. I was in a hurry cuz I was expecting guest at my mom's house. I also had to go pick up the cake at Hansins in Beverly Hills, a few blocks away from the office. At the end of the day I ended up winning cuz, 8 asked the Dr. If I can he can finish the development of the x rays, he told me to leave. Dean heard and asked me why I was in such a hurry, I told him and he took out his wallet and gave me what he had. I said I couldn't except it, my boss Dr. Shapiro said go head. Deàn told me to buy something swell for my son. He gave me $500.00. I said thank you and left. He was very kind. 😊

I thought everyone loved Dean as much as I did. I miss him. I wish we still had him with us

R.I.P. TO Dean Martin

Dean Martin acted like a gentleman when it came to his feelings about Jerry Lewis when you see how Jerry treated his sons.

I was surprised by Lucille Ball connection. But it was his greatest connection and I think finally gave him peace.

I love Dean Martin. His funny ways a joker and his way of singing. The voice so unforgettable.

He loved his children,,,as many of his caliber,,,prove not as substantial,,,He lived life to the best of his ability,,,GOD BLESS HIS MEMORY,,,,

I’m thrilled Lucy and Dean spent time together. I’m sure hearts were going through what were needed at the time. I’m sorry the time ended too soon.

Wasn't he the absolute legend, multi talented and super smooth!  One of the biggest regrets in my life was when he came to perform in London and I couldn't get anyone to go with me, so I didn't go, why didn't I go on my own? I lived in London and I could've been there in half an hour! I was and still am a big fan of his and i would've thoroughly loved seeing him live!  😢

I love Dean Martin’s singing voice. Going Back To Houston, My Three Companions and Ain’t That A Kick in the Head are a few of my favorites.

I love Moonstruck so much because Dean Martin sings "That's Amore!"

I am 84 and I heard all  the rumors

Poor Jeannie . She was raising all his kids while he was performing for the camera 😢

I suspect he had a secret Romance with Elizabeth Montgomery. The way they acted around each other showed they had something to hide and weren't hiding it very well.

Dean was the man

Many artists say the same thing about Elizabeth Taylor.  She had that special something besides ravishing beauty.  She made others feel special.

I think the relationship between Dean Martin and Lucille Ball was more deep than what is mentioned here.  Both had sons, Deano and Desi Jr, who were part of a trio that had some success in the 1960's.  Dean Martin's son was tragically killed in a military training flight accident.  I think there was a special bond between Dean and Lucy that may have helped cement an understandable relationship.

Celebrities must go through periods in their successful careers of feeling like a product. Just imagine having to continue acting forever in front of an audience taking it home to their spouses who most likely just wanted their loves normal at home. Perhaps the normal leaves them completely because that's what they have grown to become, a celebrity.  By the way, as a teenager in the 50s I kept a scrapbook of Dean Martin. His voice made me melt and it still does. Just ask my family. I adored him.

Never forget watching Johnny Carson and Dean kept flicking his cigarette ashes into George Gobels drink and he was so drunk he didn’t know it and would drink it and the audience would go crazy including me
