Everyone else: Oh no, I can't sprint!
Etho: You see, back in my day we used to plant wheat on fences.

Watching Tango and Ren hang out has made me realize that Tango's usage of the suffix "-ificate" is extremely similar to Ren's usage of the suffix "-age", only Tango's suffix goes with verbs while Ren's suffix goes with nouns.

I've seen Ren's pyramid so many times at this point in other episodes, and only now do I realize it's a FOOD PYRAMID, supported by grain...

It's a lot harder to flee with extra flee now

I technically know that Impulse wasn't one of the OG minecrafters, but its so weird to think that any of the Hermit Dads™ didn't play this version of Minecraft meanwhile Jimmy did.
Edit: Also gamedev Tango really showing up for this one

Etho showing off his Beta prowess like everybody's grandpa teaching them to fish was just the "back in my day" vibes I was hoping to feel in this series 🔥

you fools, don’t you know that on Tuesdays and the wheat is perpendicular and east of the water then all the wheat breaks! 20:31

Watching tango stomp all the crops not knowing.

@Not_a_snake 1 year ago

Tango killing his own crops. Glad grandpa etho came along to tell tales of old.

Building the lava Dorito was a special touch.

If i had a nickel for everytime there was a three person group based around bread I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's enough to make Jimmy mad

@NedThomas-esquire 1 year ago

Putting fences under farmland isn’t a thing until beta 1.6. That was then patched out in beta 1.9, and in the 1.1 release after full release is when they changed trampling crops to only happen when farmland gets jumped on.

…I’m old.

Fun fact: Bread flour actually has more gluten than all purpose flour. Gluten is what makes dough doughy. It gives it its stretchiness as dough and chewiness as bread. Gluten free flour has to have something added to it to approximate the effect of gluten on dough (often xanthan gum).
