Come with us as we explore Oaxaca, Mexico... a region so addictive that a planned one-week trip turned into over five weeks of slow travel across ancient valleys and wild Pacific coastlines.
In this video, we travel through Puerto Escondido, Zipolite, and Oaxaca City. From surf breaks and tlayudas on the coast to the raw, bohemian sanctuary of Zipolite (Mexico's only official nude beach), and into the high-altitude cultural heart of Oaxaca City, each stop revealed a completely different layer of southern Mexico.
We ride open-air colectivos, stay in a hidden cabin with a puppy named Princesa, try local delicacies like chapulines and tejate, explore Zapotec ruins at Monte Albán, and sip artisanal mezcal in the valleys.
