I picked this up on a whim because it was $15 at Barnes & Noble and couldn’t be happier. It’s a great low weight game for game nights with more casual players

Great, balanced review as always. Absolutely love Rebirth. Have been playing it for a year now and it's one of my few boardgames that my (not-that-keen-on-boardgames) wife and daughter both love playing.

It also goes down well with experience gamers. Incredibly fast, no waiting around, lovely components, gorgeous board, can play in 30-45minutea even with larger group.

Personally I don't find the cost prohibitive considering the wonderful component quality. But I can understand what you mean.

Thanks and enjoy gaming!

I first played Rebirth at a game convention, and then at another game convention about a year later. Really enjoyed both plays and eventually picked it up when I found it on sale. Cos yeah, the regular price does feel a bit much.

Nice touch to mention cost and its implications for accessibility.

This was my gateway game back in March, I saw it at a shop and I was drawn in by the artwork and then bought it. Before I had no idea about all the board games out there, now I’m obsessed!

This has been a firm favourite in our games group since we picked the KS version up on Ebay in 2024. Esp since Neidpath castle is just along the road from us.

I found this game here in Canada today (Oct 9th 2026) for (the equivalent to) £ 26.50.

Rebirth 2 is coming through now!!

Yes, the cards in Rebirth are a bit to remember.. but the rules at least are simple, so the total burden is still less than more complex popular games

Great review as always. Really enjoy this game super easy to learn but really like the fact it is not lacking in strategic depth. Agree that Reiner could be the or at least one of the greatest board game designers of all time.

Keep up the excellent work. I was actually fortunate with this one too as store had discounted so only paid about 35 USD.

Great game, I love it. Sadly my wife still prefers Carcassonne, and don’t want to play it as often as I do. Nice review :)

Followed you for some time and you always make me chuckle - thank you for your time and effort 🌟

Thank you so much for the kind words on the game. We're glad you like it!

The price we (Mighty Boards) set for the second edition (20% smaller pieces) Rebirth is £31 not £45 and all pricing to distributors (obviously heavily discounted) is calculated on this. We do not have any control on how much individual shops actually sell the game of course.

Legend — you actually linked to the speedos 😂

I bought Rebirth at Barnes and Noble in the clearance section for $13. Also found corps of discovery for $10. Keep an eye out for deals my gamer people.

This game is about $70-80 AU down here in Perth, plus postage because I bet the Dog s#*t local company doesn't stock it.
Nice review though.

Picked it after UKGE and it's been my daughter's favourite. Good game. The lads though are not too keen - not enough antagonism I think.

A 5 out of 5 for me. I probably sold a dozen copies to some of my friends after showing it off, and they aren't exactly into the space as both you and I are
