🌌 Why are galaxies moving away from us? What was before the Big Bang? Is there dark matter and energy? Why does the Universe continue to expand?

In this episode of the Podcast with Sens by Natasha, astronomer and PhD in Physics Adrian Şonka explains some of the mysteries of modern cosmology and answers questions that people have been asking themselves for generations!

We discuss the Big Bang, what we know and what we don't know about the beginning of the Universe, dark matter, dark energy, the expansion of the Universe, why galaxies are moving away from each other, what the cosmic void between galaxies represents and what the Universe we live in actually looks like.

We also learn what happened approximately 66 million years ago, when a giant asteroid hit the Earth and triggered one of the largest extinctions in the history of the planet, forever changing the evolution of life.

We also look at some of the most popular controversies: Flat Earth, moon landing conspiracy theories, and how science verifies such claims.

📌 In this episode:
✔️ What was before the Big Bang.
✔️ Why the Universe continues to expand.
✔️ What are dark matter and energy.
✔️ Why can't we see the entire Universe.
✔️ What does astronomy say about flat Earth?
✔️ Have we reached the Moon or not?

🇬🇧 English Description

🌌 Why are galaxies moving away from us? What existed before the Big Bang? What is dark matter and dark energy? Why is the Universe still expanding?

In this episode of Podcast cu Sens by Natasha, astronomer and PhD in Physics Adrian Șonka explores some of the greatest mysteries of modern cosmology and answers questions that have fascinated humanity for generations.

We discuss the Big Bang, the origin of the Universe, dark matter, dark energy, cosmic expansion, why galaxies are moving away from each other, and what science currently knows about the Universe we live in.

We also examine the asteroid impact that caused the mass extinction of the dinosaurs approximately 66 million years ago, forever changing the course of life on Earth.

Finally, we tackle some of today's most debated topics, including the Flat Earth theory, the Moon landing conspiracy, and how science evaluates extraordinary claims through evidence.
