When people talk about single sex spaces because they don't think trans women are women, I always wonder how they would react if a trans man turned up

This woman says she's going to give classes to people with PCOS. As a woman with PCOS, I have partial balding and some facial hair, both of which give me dysmorphia, and I wouldn't trust this gym to not turn me away because I'm not feminine enough.

The irony is, there is no way to enforce trans exclusionary spaces without doing what amounts to SA. "You can't come in until we inspect you and run some invasive tests."

Women aren't just harassed by men. Stereo typing women  is also one of the biggest problems. So by her making this a bigoted space, is not a safe space for anyone.

Also, in that hellhole of a gym, not attending a course about menstrual cycles would probably start a witch hunt against you because they'd deem it "suspicious"

This shit is so frustrating. I survived SA. I am a trans woman. I feel like there is no space for me to safely exist. I am either seen as prey or as a predator. I have never done anything to hurt someone. Since i was 8 i have been assaulted.

Why dont I deserve safety?

The one question I have for her is, how will you know??? Are you going to ask everyone as they sign up? Visiually inspect them and accost any woman who doesn't fit your idea of a biological woman? That doesn't sound safe to me!

Edit: I just got to this part of your video and I'm glad that you also thought of this!!

I appreciate you standing up for Trans Women, Sav. Even if London is far, far, away from me, it's nice to know not everyone there hates my guts for no reason.

In my small town in Germany, there's a women-only gym and it's all women, including trans ones. Has been around for more than a decade now and I can totally understand how women would flock to it, being able to train in peace.

Im a detrans cis woman and tbh, i still feel threatened in places that arent safe for trans ppl because I still present more masculinely. If this place was near me I still wouldn’t sign up knowing that my trans sisters arent safe in a space like this

Trans woman here. I need to nope out of this one, but I’m glad you’re doing this work.

She has made condescending, exclusionary content for a while. She thinks fitness is basically one mold (lifting weights in a particular way, in a gym) and has stated that if you are not making progress in your fitness journey, it’s because you aren’t trying hard enough and aren’t doing it in the way SHE thinks is the right way. She has left a bad taste in my mouth for years, the way she talked about her pregnancy was weird at times, so this honestly doesn’t surprise me that much.

when u said "speaking of inserting myself" I thought it was gonna be a transition to a bellesa ad lmaooo

"Cis women will be targeted" already happened in texas. woman got fired bcuz a customer followed her into the womans bathroom bcuz she was trans. She wasnt. this is disgusting.. i hope she goes out of buisness for her hate. Hate for trans women is hate for all women.

I’m a cis woman, but I’m 6’6 with broad as hell shoulders, I’m not dainty and feminine in any way, and my voice is deep enough that I have repeatedly confused people in the past as to what my gender may be.
This gym wouldn’t make me feel safe, this gym sounds like a nightmare.
If people look at me as a trans woman, so be it, I have no problem with that at all.
But if you decide that looking at someone’s genitals or forcing people to dress “feminine” is how you determine who is or is not a woman, then I will walk right on out.
She clearly has no idea what a woman is.

She wanted queer and trans women's money and support then to pull the rug. She doesn't want them in her terf gym, she just wanted their $$$$$.

As an SA survivor, I do not feel safe in places that exclude trans people.
I see things like that and the first thing I wonder is: where else do they draw invisible lines in the sand? Is this place inclusive of people of color? Of disabled people? If I get triggered and start having an episode, will I be helped or kicked out? Is this a space where I can be open about my body dysmorphia or do they have a weightloss culture that puts me at risk of a relapse?
There are also plenty of cis women and cis-passing women and non-binary people who would like to work out alongside their visibly trans friends, myself included.

i love knowing i can always count on you to stand up for the trans community. it’s honestly a huge relief with how many people have been switching up out of nowhere. thanks for giving a bit of hope and sanity in the midst of everything going on, it’s getting rougher every day here in the US

This woman's logic is the same as my mom who swears she's not transphobic while referring to a transwoman as "him"🙄🙄🙄🙄

As a non-binary person, I was just talking about how much I love your "guys, gals, and non-binary pals" video openings yesterday, and then today you popped up on my recommended feed! Thank you for covering this - I'm in the UK and absolutely hate the tide of transphobia in this country. But I feel a little safer knowing we have amazing allies like you on our side ♥
