From a watcher’s perspective, this definitely feels like an experiment on how to cut down time and make the audio a bit easier to follow. I trust that there’s the best of intentions and there’s a push in some shape or form to find a solution.

However, also from a watcher’s perspective, not a fan of the changes. At all.

It's not only that the editing looks weird. In fact, the audio from their voices and the game images are not sincronized.

Audio-wise, none of this sounds natural, it plays like an AI splicing together a bunch of soundbites rather than people playing a game together. Visual-wise its practically impossible to follow, as the cuts are too frequent and skip significant portions of gameplay, losing all context.

I love Golf It, but this one almost feels more like a compilation than a "normal" video. They seemed "disconnected" from each other sometimes and the editing in general was a bit hectic. It felt like someone did everything they could to make the video as short as possible.

This video has the feel of a highlights video for a stream that was several hours long, but the cuts aren't often satisfying and the editor cuts to spectator cam when nothing out of the ordinary is going on that we need to see from one or more different angles.

Anyone else having trouble watching this, it just feels weird I just can't.

Editing is off by alot today...
you can hear them talk off sync in each others mics, many many missing/edited out shots
and most importantly we couldn't see the scoreboard for the longest time so no one could know who is doing well...

There are three guarantees in life:
Death, taxes, and somebody's game and/or facecam footage being lost in an AH video

I've figured out what this reminds me of. It's those 2015ish videos of people playing games with cuts everywhere and subtitles of what they're saying all over the screen, except there aren't any subtitles or screaming.

This feels really overedited and off.... I'm really bummed about how they keep cutting videos shorter and shorter too

20:20 on man wonder how Michael's going to get out of this mess!

Oh wait it just jump cuts to him sinking it.  Lovely.   What is with the editing in this video?   There are constant Jump cuts and skipped turns.  Is there someone in RT/AH that thinks the audience wants shorter, truncated versions of these videos?  I mean i guess they have the analytics and I don't so I shouldn't act like I know better but darn I hope this is a one-off.   I can understand that with the Covid there may be some time constraints and so forth,   so If thats the case then no big deal, I get it.   There's also that double Hurricane, who knows if they got any thunderstorms or such from it in Texas.

But man, please try not to make this the new norm, I like your content better mostly uncut :\

This needs background music

New editor?  Seems a little weird at points but I definitely like 12:10 when Jeremy said were all waiting on Matt and they just showed everyone's screen of Matt overlapped

I like how they could've cut the first attempted round but they didn't want to lose "suck my suck" and "doo doo brother"

This looks over-edited...

22:27 Michael: condor!
Gavin: make a condor noise.
Michael: GAAAHHHHh
Perfect.

I feel like they didn’t just sync the audio of everybody, but they tried to get it so everybody wasn’t talking over each other. It just doesn’t work as well

Really not sure why they removed the note saying that they lost Matt's audio. But yeah there's no shame in admitting a video is beyond saving.

Hmm, looks like they re-edited the FIRST video.

For anyone wondering, imagine a hundred more cuts. Like, so many you could get sick

This video kinda feels like an awkward discord call when you game with new friends for the first time it's weirdly silent and kinda off lmaoo
