Regardless of breathing always remove the top one first just to make sure you don't end up stuck with no fluid...Pro tip: Get a $13 battery fluid pump and two D batteries at Harbor Freight and make this job and future jobs easy. Also buying a gallon of synthetic gear oil at a time is a real moneysaver long term. Usually about the same price as only 2 quarts.

How many miles on that fluid? It wasn't even dark at all and looked really good to me being so light brown.

The smell of diff is very strong and smells nasty lol the oil looks pretty good when it drains, I seen worse.
