In The Creator Cup, every team has one professional climber, and one amateur climber. They must work together to combine their skill, technique, and experience to collect points on five Olympic finals style boulders including a dynamic slab, parkour jump, technical rock climb and testing power bloc.

Love the way the teams format incentivizes coaching and teaching the "amateur". Actually a very interesting twist on the usual comp format.

Really hope you enjoy the second iteration of The Creator Cup. We wanted to bring a fresh wave of competitors into the mix and we think they put on an amazing show.

Maybe Creator Cup 3.0 will be my lucky time to actually compete - I was struck down my injury (hahah what’s new!) a couple of weeks before the competition and was GUTTED, but I hear third time is the charm! 🙌

Thanks to Rungne, Nature, Mad Rock Substation Climbing, an amazing bunch of climbers and some of London’s finest route-setters, for helping us to bring the vision to life.

Amazing job, Hannah, and to your team! Cool format too.
Also, let's be honest, what Magnus's brand does for the YouTube climbing community is also incredible. You always need solid cash to be able to organize such an event, as well as dedicated people to organize it, like Hannah.

Forgot to say: Emil has an amazing ability to read and execute climbs in a way that suits him. Great problem solver!

I love this doubles format. It’s great seeing the boulders being worked out cooperatively during the climbing and not just during observation. In the future, it would be cool to have one pairs boulder thrown in, to get the teamwork on the wall in play as well.

On another note, it would be interesting if the IFSC ever did doubles competitions, because it could help offset the ability for setters to predetermine outcomes by setting for/against an individual climber’s strengths/weaknesses, which seems to be becoming an issue.
