Thank you! I just barely learned how to cornrow (sort of) 2 days ago. My husband (whos latino) taught me after i showed him a tutorial that i didnt understand. He watched it for 3 mins and was like "i got it, let me show you" 😂. I still suck though so im gonna do this!

As a braider you could most certainly charge for this DIY version. My hair is to my butt and I do not like sitting in the chair for 8 hours. This method would save your hands and sanity doing hair like mine, and you would save our lower backs. Thank you for posting this video. It will be very helpful for me and my daughter.

I love this idea 👏🏽but I would do instead of rubber banding the braids, try crocheting them into each other or sew the braids down, that rubberband can pop or come down when running ur fingers thru the hair but great job, beautiful work for both options 😊

Oh yes you did your thing My sister does not know how underbraid so she usually installs plats in her hair but she tried this hack and now she is a force to reckon with when it comes to choosing crochet hair to install....she says to me "now I can be like you" only in half the time😆 and we both have a good laugh😏
