Can't believe it's taken me this long to cover this show.. Let me know who you think the worst of the three is! I genuinely can't decide..

as a teenage girl, not havingnthe option to shower every day, especially that time of the month is cruel

Saving money by doing unhygienic things ✅️
Having to spend that money because your unhygienic habits made you sick ✅️

In Germany putting things you no longer want on the sidewalk for other people to take home and reuse is a time honoured practice and there is no stigma about taking and reusing other people's discarded things.

If you serve dumpster dive food to guests, you are a bad person. You demonstrate that you don't care about the health and safety of people who trust you.

"You'll feel like you are walking on eggshells" probably because she is using them to clean the floors

Me and my partner live below the poverty line and spent the entire year before last year living in a hostel as we were homeless and I watch things like this and it makes me really think about how these people choose to live like this when they have absolutely no reason to...

I bet the kids take showers when her mom leaves the house

Last year, my brother gave me cheese for Christmas. When I pointed out that it was discolored, he admitted it was from a dumpster. He's in his 40s. His wife was livid. He then threw a fit because I left the steak on the counter for half an hour before cooking it. It's seriously some weird form of mental illness.

I grew up homeless with my mom, living in cars, hotel rooms, tents, etc. I spent my whole childhood and teen years/early 20s homeless and extremely poor, and now i live with my wife in a rly nice apartment, I'm a welder and she's a chef, and we live comfortably just above the poverty line. Youd think id be acting this same way, hyper controlling and afraid with money, but honestly it is so rewarding to be able to live with small luxuries and easier life than it is to hoard what little money would be saved.

Two things always struck me on this show:

1. The “I save money by not using the machine to wash [thing]” (No, you don’t: machines are far more energy efficient than washing by hand. The primary cost in washing dishes and laundry is not the water, and not any motors and pumps, but the energy to heat the water. Machines use far less hot water than hand-washing, so they save money. Even if a modern efficient machine takes 3 hours to do a load, it’s using way less energy to do so.)

2. The wild, insane amounts of money they claim they’re saving, like this one claiming to save $75 a year by using old teabags as floor cleaner. No, you weren’t spending $75 on floor detergent per year. You buy one bottle of Fabuloso for $5 and it lasts you at least a year.

Besides, anyone who was actually a cheapskate would know where to go to buy super-cheap detergents that cost even less.

If I paid for my child to go on holiday with their friend and the mum made them scrimp on food I'd be fuming 😂

I think I remember awhile back, the second lady did an interview saying the show made her look terrible and had her say she did things she doesn't actually do

Cam the ultrasound machine isn't used only for pregnant women. It's used for an array of conditions. For example appendicitis, liver problems, kidney problems ect. I had one when I had pancreatitis and had to have my gallbladder out too.

As a Brit, I was most offended and disgusted by seeing the first woman take the cup of tea out of the microwave.

People who force this lifestyle on their kids seriously need to have their kids taken away. You don't stand a chance of becoming a well adjusted adult if you grow up in that kind of environment, it really is abuse.

These people could really do something great if they applied their creativity elsewhere.

If I was Angela's daughter, when I was an adult I would cut ties with her completely. She can live in her cheap life and leave me out of it. She probably makes more money than both my parents combined. We have 5 kids and we never wanted for anything, went on vacation sometimes and even paid for college. She makes me crazy. Don't do this shit if you are not the only person it's affecting😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

I think this is more about control than saving money BTW.

I have an idea for that mum over there. She can just hand her children over to CPS and get some other people to pay for showers and food. Can you imagine how much money she could safe - Yeah!!!
