Welcome back to my studio!
In this video, I’m sculpting a super cute Mr. Fox using low-fire clay. This versatile little fox can be used as a cute planter, a desk pencil holder, or an organizer for your favorite tools!
🔥 Firing Info:
i used a low fire clay and The bisque firing was done up to Cone 05 (around 1020°C / 1868°F).
Since this piece is meant purely for decorative use, I decided not to glaze it. Instead, after the bisque firing, I hand-painted it using acrylic paints to bring out all the details and vibrant colors. 🎨
💡 Important Ceramic Tip:
Yes, you can absolutely paint acrylics on bisque-fired clay for decorative pieces! However, please keep in mind that acrylic-painted ceramics are NOT food safe.
If you want to make a piece for kitchen use like a fork holder, mug, or food container ,make sure to use food-safe glazes and complete a full glaze firing. 🍽️✨
