My style of fishing !!  Love it.  I started off with an Australis Bass Kayak too, thought it was great. But then read a comment from someone about how much better the Perception Minnow was over the Australis Bass, for pretty much the same specs. I found a Minnow on Maketplace and grabbed it, WOW.... they were right.  Tracks way better than the Bass and a larger cockpit makes it easier to get in and out of.  See if you can find a Perception Minnow, you wont regret it. I have 2x vertical rod holders just behind the seat to clear up rod storage, just the straight ones not the 45degree ones (tried them first but the straight ones are the go), get them from BCF/Anaconda etc you just need a holesaw and 4 screws, and put in a Railblaza mount at the front just in front of you for a romovable rod holder or camera mount etc.  I like your rod/reel setups, I have 3 of those Aurora Air BFS reels, soooo good. Rod wise I run the Handing Magic L Casting 1.8m rods in both L and UL, they have a ratcheting reel seat and the blanks are awesome and strong and they are cheap on AliExpress.

Mate nice vid thanks. Nice scenery nice rod. And some good casting. That light rod has a wooden butt? Wow how does that feel in the hand ? And are you kidding $40. That looks better than some $300. The old pistol grip too you don’t see that any more. Love it. Are you in Sydney with that vid ? Love to see more soon.
