The second installment of our "No-Leave-Needs-to-Fly" series is back in Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 This time, we departed Friday night and returned Sunday evening, focusing on the hilly Central district. Even Mom joined us for a whirlwind tour! This 48-hour trip was a culinary marathon! We brought back Michelin-recommended roast goose from Kam's to feast on at the hotel – the aroma of the goose fat and the juicy goose meat were simply divine! We also visited Lin Heung Tea House, Hong Kong's only remaining century-old establishment, to experience the nostalgic Hong Kong-style dim sum cart. Of course, we didn't miss the "Under Bridge Spicy Crab," which made our wallets cry but was incredibly sweet and delicious! Besides indulging in Chan Chak Kee wontons, Sang Kee congee, traditional egg tarts, and various desserts, we also visited Tai Kwun, a former prison, hiked up Victoria Peak, visited the incredibly generous free zoo in Central, and finally even experienced the authentic Hong Kong folk custom of "beating the villain"! A two-day, one-night weekend getaway is definitely possible. Join us as we explore this vibrant yet historically rich city!
