You have no idea how valuable your videos are right now in my stage of life. The nice clothes I wore in my working life are now ill-fitting in my 80’s. The trouble is that the fine stores and sales people I depended on all those years have disappeared. I’m thrown together with impulse buying and forced into a diet of Costco menswear or guessing how something on Amazon might look. I have one decent blue blazer and all the rest is whatever I can grab without consideration of color or the real quality I once cherished. I tell myself it doesn’t matter any more. I don’t know if the “real” Duncan Marsh is a lively chap, but this wooden AI avatar seems like straight out of “The Walking Dead,” if the zombies could talk. “It” just seems to drone on and on and on, without any life, warmth or expression in his voice and going through the motions in an all too obvious loop. (Well, he is British, so ironically maybe this is a real man and that’s his stiff, emotionally constipated, stick-up-his ass, stiff upper lip persona. (God, I hope not).
I can’t believe humanity has reached the technological level of being able to create artificial intelligence, to then hopelessly damage all social media and most communications forever with these sad excuses of cartoons trying to pass as humans. And it will only get worse.
