We love to travel and will honestly take ANY opportunity we can get to book a flight… it’s actually one of our toxic traits 😂✈️
This week, our son Rio had an INSET day at school on Friday and, quite literally, on Thursday we decided that the best thing to do would be to go away for a long weekend!
So… we booked a trip to Majorca! 🇪🇸
We chose Majorca because the flights were a reasonable price and, most importantly, there was a flight that worked around school. We could finish school on Thursday, get to the airport and be in Majorca within a few hours, giving us a full day Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday before getting home just in time for school on Monday.
And honestly… it was exactly what we needed.
We stayed at the Hilton Galatzo in Majorca and had the most incredible weekend. We spent our days chilling by the pool, the kids loved swimming, we had a few cocktails, ate some lovely food and went out for dinner in the evenings. It was the perfect little escape and everything we wanted it to be. ☀️🍹
Of course, because this is our family, there had to be a little chaos…
Within the first 24 hours, we were asked by quite a few people, “Where’s their mum?” It’s not something we’ve experienced so much recently, so it was definitely an interesting experience — and I talk a little more about it towards the end of the vlog.
And then there was the small matter of Stuart being put in charge of packing this time… and somehow forgetting to pack the kids’ underpants and knickers! 😂 It wasn’t a big deal at all, but we shared the story on social media and people absolutely LOST IT, so obviously we had to include it in the vlog!
