Mamta Kafle Bhatt’s mother testified about her daughter’s upbringing and their last conversation in late July 2024. After losing contact with the missing nurse, she said she couldn’t reach Bhatt’s husband, Naresh, for five days. Prosecutors accuse Naresh of killing and dismembering his wife around July 29, 2024. His trial is underway in Virginia.
