🏚️ This week we finally arrive in Crolly, Co. Donegal, where the properties are set in what looks like the perfect isolated location; but is this exactly what we’ve been searching for, or is there something that just doesn’t work for us? Then, on the way to our park-up, we spot an unusual property we’d seen online… but is it really a tiny home, or just half a house?

🎥 New videos every Wednesday as we search for, renovate and restore our DERELICT, Off-Grid Irish Farmhouse

About Finding My Place.
We are Helen and Martin, and after leaving England behind to build a new life in Ireland, our journey is taking another unexpected turn.
After both been made redundent we are now searching for a derelict Irish farmhouse to restore ourselves and turn into a more off-grid, bill-free home. Learning everything as we go and sharing the reality of the whole adventure with you.

If you love old Irish houses, renovation, off-grid living, self-sufficiency, rural Ireland or simply watching two people attempt things they’ve never done before… you’re in the right place.
