I think the issues you're experiencing are caused by the CO2 magazines, I have used mine exclusively with green gas mags and have never seen any parts warp or break. I also installed a stronger recoil spring and a buffer pad that's built into the recoil spring assembly, i tried the ra-tech NPAS nozzle but it couldn't cycle very well in the normal bolt carrier, not entirely sure why. I also needed to put thread glue on the front sight post screw, which I think they should have done from the factory.
I might try the full stroke kit because I really want the realism, i think yours jammed because the recoil rod assembly collapses inconsistently, and im pretty sure a stronger spring would actually fix that issue. I may also look into applying cerakote to that part you mentioned was weak, though i believe the screw is thread glued, so it might cause more damage than good to touch.
Could you make a video on disassembling the hammer and trigger group? I plan to install an upgraded hammer spring (to fix light-striking for overly gassed magazines) and I'm a little apprehensive to try to disassemble it without a guide video. Thanks!
