In today's episode I'm spending the night in my tiny car halfway up a mountain, making delicious tortillas for dinner, getting chased by mountain goats, and climbing one last north wall before winter takes over.

There's an authenticity about Andraz's videos that is rarely replicated on YouTube, with the possible exception of Bruno Pisani in mountaineering vlogs. You get the whole ascent, from base to summit, not just ignoring the effort required to reach the begining of the climb. Andraz also freely shows his absolute joy at being in the mountain environment. His warnings are pertinent and well directed. He's one of the few who truly reflects how we feel in the mountains. Long may he continue to stay the man he is.

Andraz, you are still so young and yet your words have such weight to them, wise beyond your years. You show how mental and physical strength can be built as long as we have disciplines and don't give up. Otherwise we are stuck in the same place forever. I also watch a lot of climbing videos but yours show so much details and first hand experience, it feels that I'm experiencing it myself. Thank you for your videos, they are inspiring.

if you put the tortilla in the warm pan for a minute of two they will soften up so that you can fold them

Tips on 8:20 - wrapping things in tortillas.
You want to warm up the tortillas first!
This makes the tortillas more pliable and less prone to breaking.

Camping, cooking, chased though the wilderness by wild animals, free climbing, beautiful nature shots… the complete package, outstanding video! Your climbing shots are better and cause more swindle in me than in the movie „Cliffhanger“, breathtaking! 🤗 Have a great weekend!
