Luther is the judge. Mark is the jury and Alice is the executioner.

When american people complain about british seasons being short, its because we have this thing called 'quality'...

Ruth Wilson knocked it out of the park with Alice Morgan. Sensational.

That look in her eyes with that tone, "Dying's just worse." Creeeeeps me out every time

it's kind of sad to see Luther's former friend and colleague betray him so horribly just to save his own skin...

Alice is such a complex character and it's so hard to not love her.

Alice is such an interesting character... simultaneously a counter-point and complement to Luther...

Alice is Irene Adler and Moriarty roled into one.

Alice is that character you really, truly want to hate...but just can't.

I'm wondering if the writers of this show wrote the character of Alice while thinking, "I wonder what it would be like if Professor Moriarty was a beautiful woman with whom Sherlock shared a mutual attraction almost despite themselves?".

Idris is awesome but Ruth Wilson makes this show.

Ian's troll game is on point.

Paul McGann doesn't have a huge role but dang he's good in this

Ian's the adult version of a child who can't handle the idea of being in trouble and makes things worse for himself and everyone around him as a result of trying to escape punishment

Alice - one of the great creations. The game changes whenever Ruth Wilson appears.

God I love this show. Alice was simply awesome, a complex sociopath with a definite moral center which made her hard to hate.  And John Luther, well absolutely one of the most complex tragic tortured geniuses on screen. The two of them together were a riveting, unpredictable pair.

The drama of this scene has few equals in British television. Neil Cross's genius writing. What an ensemble piece from four absolutely brilliant actors. Can you imagine being on set when this was filmed? What a way to leave things, a total mess. Ian getting his come uppance, Mark finally getting to hear the truth. John having his revenge, even though his morality wouldnt allow him to take it personally and Alice being the conduit. Taking revenge on his behalf without any concerns about what is right and what is wrong. And Alice seems to be every man's fantasy. Funny isn't it? She is a totally unique character. So enigmatic, beautiful, sexy and yet a serial killer. I know deep down that she will be back in S5. And like many of us I just cannot wait! The chemistry between her and Luther is palpable. If only they could be together....

The look on Paul McGann's face when Ian just continues in on Zoe just breaks my heart to see. He plays it so well.

I just think Ruth Wilson’s portrayal of Alice is iconic. No one else can replicate her performance.

I think it's the Nina Simone song that wraps up this scene so perfectly
