WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVORITE???
am i gon like this series bru...? 😭

This is honestly one of my favorite animes. It definitely gets better and better as you watch. So many characters to love and dope fight scenes (many of them). I will definitely be here for the journey if you watch!

That last op is def a goodbye opening, having the same artist as the first and even referencing it with "The Day has Come"
Also idk if you'd cry but i did, a lot
Like every episode of the last season

as someone who followed the show from the start to finish, listneing to the last opening makes me cry. Love your brutal honestly when you dont vibe with the opening.

Time to rewatch the anime again with you! 🫡

Bro is so focused on eve's song that he did not notice Lady Nagant 😂

6:35 - “Odd Future” was, is, and will always remain, STRAIGHT HEAT! My favorite OP of MHA!

The first op is  called "The Day" and the last line if the last op is "the Day Has Come", as someone who has watched Mha since the start that made me cry the first time I listened to that.

12:09 the little girl is the sunshine of mha, the ball of love invoked in the fanmade, the traumatized child

Only anime i've never skipped it's openings
Now Join the FRIKING council

"Does anyone die in this show" ... (incert that one yuji itadori  death stare or something meme)
18:09 made me giggle

hii i would say MHA isnt cringe, sometimes its corny because its classic marvel like following vibes. but it was fandom back in the days that made it look cringe, its actually not aws much. its actually lighhearted, mostly at the start but it balances the dark stuff that come the further you go. and frankly last two seasons are best ones in story and animation, no wonder it won anime of year. but honestly its emotional even on the start, and emotional stuff happening last season makes many people cry

27:02 funny you should say that

Mha has no filler arcs, even if some parts feel like that everything comes into play at some point

28:35 - There are two (three?) versions of this last opening (“The REVO”). I’m glad you watched the first version. Do NOT look up the second version unless you want to be spoiled. You still got the benefit of listening to this excellent song!

The first opening had the lyrics "The day has come" in a very "This is your moment to shine!" Type shii then the last opening also said "The day has come" which symbolizes that there will be the day where it's all over and ended in a good note!! I kept bawling my eyes out whenever I listen to it

28:02 they show the characters and their younger selves, with the villains having the same because they are showing characters who have parallels in life, who chose the right path despite it (heroes) and who didn't (villains)

Also Merry Go Round was written for a Japanese audience. The full translated lyrics add so much necessary context.

15:22 momo yaoyorozu, and she is the same age as them, 15 i believe

The show can be lighthearted at times, but it touches on incredibly deep topics as well. It deals with physical and mental ab*se A LOT actually, child ab*se and neglect, racism, bullying, s*icide, societal privilege, loss of identity, imposter syndrome, the burden of legacy, medical and ethical boundaries, and yes, it does include death and actual consequences for people's actions, etc. And believe it or not, the show is at times censored from the manga it's based on which is even more brutal, especially in the later seasons. Obviously, I won't specify until you get to those points.

Each episode takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. My friends got me into the show, and I got my parents into it afterward. It's my parents 1st time ever watching anime, and they love it!
