First one is scary. Imagine growing up your whole life trusting someone only to find out that they are a monster.

Old Bob was a Real One. I hope he's found peace.

That story about the girl seeing the old man throw a child down the well brings to mind the early scenes from Jeepers Creepers.

That story about Old Bob really got under my skin. It’s not just scary — it’s tragic. The real horror isn’t the man they feared, but the lies a whole town chose to believe.

Seems like there is an old Bob in every small town. An avenger made out to be the local monster by the local hypocrites. Thank you sir.

I’m pretty sure police can enter without a warrant when the issue of someone’s safety is reasonably threatened

Old Bob is a real one. God bless him. I hope getting that off his chest helped him find some kind of peace.

The well story: would have been so easy to just take the girl to the well and show her a kids not there. The fact the farmer refused to do that is sus asf…….

Thank you so much for not using AI. We love you!!

Ugh, thank you SO FREAKING MUCH for not using those stupid droning AI voices. A human element adds more to the atmosphere of the story that is so refreshing. Instant subscribe.

Wow! That first story was dark. What an unexpected twist.

Whenever there's a repeat sentence it reminds of that scene in Goodfellas, "going to get the papers, get the papers" lol

I grew up 15 minutes away from that Amish School House and was in High School when that happened. Even after all I heard about that incident over the years, I learned so many more that clarified a lot. Thanks for being brave enough to share and I hope you’re doing well away from the Amish community

Wait so the mom in the first story was ok with her friend carrying a tranquilized kid? WTF?

@nocturna6843 1 year ago

Those last two stories broke my heart💔 the mans brother was killed right on top of him and those poor girls who had their lives taken and all those other kids that were abused. Poor babies
The first story was just wow, I had a bad feeling about the mom's friend, that poor child who died because of them.

@fairlymediocreOG 1 year ago

the second story would constitute exigent circumstances and wouldn’t require a warrant to search the well - i know it’s just a story lol

That first story: "Old" Bob is an incredible person and storyteller's mom is.... And good on him for calling out his own mother and sticking with his convictions.

The last story, about the Amish , threw me for a loop, as at first I thought "at least this isn't true", but as the story developed, I remembered that it was true. I remember the part about the lubricant...yuck..

And I remember the Amish forgiving the perpetrator.
