If my wife spent 3 hours at the salon for those nails I honestly would be amazed that it only took 3 hours for such detailed and amazing work. Such talented people around the world!

Hey Sharla, I’ve officially been watching your channel for 13 years now, which means I’ve been watching you for half my life.  It’s wild to think how much time has passed and how much my life has changed, but here I still am, watching your life in Japan with a smile on my face.  I’m so grateful for all the relaxing vibes and knowledge about life in Japan your videos have given me.  You’ve taught me so much, and inspired me to keep on learning!  I really would not be the same person without your channels.  So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

So many years ago I watched your videos as a middle schooler thinking "wow, I’d like to try living in Japan!".  Now, I move to Tokyo for school in the fall.  Thank you for everything!

nails, coffee, AND sushi 😭a perfect day!!

That salmon and broccoli though 👌
- My turn to cook dinner in the next video.

The way I’m so emotionally attached to the renovations of a house half a world away 😂 cannot wait to see the finished version ✨

Hi Sharla, I think I saw you on your trip to Canada (at the place with the goats on the roof 🐐). I was a bit surprised to see you as I’ve been a silent watcher of your videos for over a decade. I didn’t want to bother you, plus I’m a bit shy haha. But I just wanted you to know how much joy your videos have brought me over the years - it’s so weird watching so many facades of someone’s life over videos, but I’ve always appreciated how genuine and honest you are. I started watching as a Van Island teen with a curiosity of Japan, but now your videos are just a comfort. I still plan to visit Japan one day, and your videos have definitely helped prepare me over the years. But I’m loving watching your business ventures and renovating your Air BnBs. I’m also a cat lover with 3 cats of my own, so I would love to stay at Neko Neko Inn one day. I wish you all the best Sharla, and thank you for everything you do. 😊

Chris being unaware of the price of things tracks so well 😂

The nails are lovely 🥰.  Also, erasable ink disappears if it becomes too warm. A coworker left the paperwork she had been working on the dash of her car. When she went to continue working on it, all her writing was gone!

She realized the hot sun caused it to vanish, so she tried putting it in the freezer. It worked.

Everybody needs a USHKA in their lives 🥰, she’s amazing 💕

Think Ushka needs to add a line of refrigerator magnets to Neko Neko post, called "Another Fridge"  and they'll all be in miniature (IYKYK) LOL

It’s crazy how fast the whole house has been renovated so far. It’s already so unrecognisable!

“The next station is Shibuya” - it never gets old

1:48 I find the way she uses her own nail as a painter’s palette so satisfying ❤❤❤

I just cannot with this comment section. Everyone is so sweet and wholesome ❤😭

Having a friend / platonic life partner like Ushka is so invaluable! So happy for you ladies to have found each other :-)

I resisted getting an air fryer for a long time, thinking I didn't need 'another appliance to sit on the bench'..... It now sits on the bench and I use it everyday. It's now an essential member of the family. It cooks pretty much anything and everything

You could post everyday and I wouldn’t be bored
Saying this as someone who is obsessed with stationery, home renovations and nail art 😅

Ushka looks like such a happy & fun person to be around! I can see why you would want to start projects with her. 🤩Working with friends is the best! It makes everything easier.

12:58 she is the sweetest   🫶 I like the final look of this room 👍 you two are a making very lovely spaces for the guest ❤️
