I was very impressed by the selection. The buffet is exceptionally extensive and diverse, with fresh salads, vegetables, meat and fish dishes, international favourites, Mexican specialities and plenty of vegetarian choices. RIU describes La Hacienda as an international buffet restaurant offering live-cooking stations, vegetarian options and a broad dessert selection.
Another highlight is the attractive outdoor terrace, which provides a wonderful setting for a relaxed lunch in the Cancun sunshine. There is plenty of seating, both indoors and outside, and I found the service to be exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Many other guests are equally positive about the food at RIU Ventura. Reviews frequently praise the extensive selection, well-prepared dishes and freshness of the buffet. Some travellers even describe the buffet as one of the highlights of their stay, while others say they preferred it to several of the speciality restaurants.
