All of Rosé's solo music is in English she was born in New Zealand and raised in Austrila she has an Aussie accent Apt 'apateu' is the only Korean in any of her solo music.

Rosé came up with the idea for Apt 'apateu' is a drinking game in S. Korea it's her favorite drinking game they have a lot of them (they like to drink there lol) it's also the Korean word for apartment so dual meaning. When Rosé recently joined Atlantic Records to release her album she found out Bruno was on the label too she told the story of how she went to his concert in S. Korea the previous year and realized how huge of a fan of his she is. She asked if he might be interested in a collab they said to send Bruno 3 songs. Rosé was thrilled that Bruno was even going to listen to her music she didn't even really dream the collab would actually happen. Rosé's team was against sending Bruno Apt they felt he would never go for it, but Rosé felt different she was sure if Bruno was going to pick one it would be Apt. At the last minute without telling anyone she pulled one of the songs and added Apt instead sending Bruno her songs '3am', 'number one girl', and 'Apt'. Bruno asked Rosé what Apt means by this time they had become friendly and were speaking when she told him it's a Korean drinking game he loved it and singed up and the rest is history as Rosé said.

Bruno's involvement with Rosé didn't stop there her gave her some tips on how to make one of the other songs she sent him a bit more emotional. Bruno has co-writing and co-producing credit on her song 'number one girl'. Bruno didn't even stop there Rosé was trying to decide on album titles she was originally going to go with 'number one girl' after the song but Bruno pushed for 'rosie' the name her friends and family call her by. After seeing early IRL concept designs with 'rosie' she agreed seeing it in real life sold her and that's the name she went with. When she was interviewed on Jimmy Fallon she said Bruno was a mentor we also just found out Rosé’s band music director is also a member & music director for the "Dirty Thirty Band," which happens to be one of the house bands for "The Pinky Ring." And y’all know who owns that club, right? Yep, Bruno Mars. So that’s why Bruno personally called him to accompany Rosé for her solo festivals🤧

Man, Bruno really takes his role as Rosé’s big bro and mentor in the music industry seriously. No wonder she admires him so much

They are all stars, all 4. And Rose is my love, she is my crush, my baby

ROSÉ - number one girl (official music video)
ROSÉ - 3am (live performance)

Rosé came up with the idea for Apt it's based on a Korean drinking came she co-wrote and recorded it a year before she would pitch it to Bruno.
Apt with Bruno Mars, it's the 2nd fastest song in Spotify history to hit 1 billion streams and it hit 1 billion on Youtube in 105 days (for come context Blackpink's fastest video to 1 billion is 503 days), it's the lead single from her debut full studio album 'rosie' which is breaking Blackpink's records. Forbes recent headlines about Rosé 'Forbes: ‘Blackpink Star Rosé Beats The Band That Made Her Famous’ & 'ROSÉ isn’t done breaking records yet! Now, she's in the company of global chart-toppers like Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus. Next up-Ms M Carey's trajectory.' (1 more week and she will break mariah carey all i want for Christmas for weeks at number 1 on BBGlobal 200)

APT means apartment. The song is about a Korean drinking game based on what floor you live on and the loser takes a shot. I'm not sure of the mechanics of the game, but that's the gist, per Rose` during an interview.
