That's an excellent rendition of that hat.👍 I am surprised by the fact so many movie character cowboy hats are marketed that only vaguely look like the real deal.

That's a lot of work. I couldn't find a reproduction for retail sale. Having leatherworking skills can prove to be valuable.

Nice work again Richard and looks great. All ya need now is a Colt Single Action Army revolver and a Winchester 1873 Carbine and you can play the part.

Hi Richard, awesome job on the hat Sir! One thing I noticed on the movie hat side by side is Clint's hat had a little side wing on it. Maybe with some wet molding on the veggie leather it will stay formed. Makes me want to get back to leather working again. Thank you for all your hard work and time Sir.

In a different life you may have ended up a leather smith or taylor for your community rather than whatever job you actually ended up doing. Skills like these are so important and being lost quickly.
