Our family road trip from San Antonio to Frisco, Texas, was supposed to be the exciting start of our Universal Kids Resort vacation, but things didn't go exactly as planned. With major traffic, a very sick child, and an unexpected challenge in the middle of our journey, we had to learn to slow down, pivot, and make the best of the situation as a family. We eventually made it to Universal Kids Resort, where the smiles returned and we got our first glimpse of the adventure ahead, but this road trip was just the beginning of everything that happened on this family vacation. Come along for our family road trip, the unexpected challenges, and a first look at Universal Kids Resort before we share the full resort experience and our complete park day!
