One of my favorite videos from you in awhile, keep in up! Esp like the mindset of having exclusions and separating liking someone's style vs something you would actually wear. Helps cut down on decision paralysis and overconsumption too imo.
Thank you! I've been trying to develop a sense of style and this helps tremendously. Especially the part about what looks good on someone else but may not look good on me. I think your video about Le Sappe gave me that hintergedanke seeing those people look amazing in outfits I knew I could never pull off.
Video really hit the head with my struggles: I like to think that I have good taste in fashion, but have struggled with my own personal style (proportions, nailing down what my aesthetic is)
i've really enjoyed the video and the points you brought to light. it's so ironic that people forget that you've got to go out and live life to develop a personal style. people want things worn by time, but they want it now. people want workwear pieces, but completely off from what their jobs are. people want to have an unique style by searching it off of an infinite scroll. and turns out you just have to live your daily life and experiment, wear things that make you confident and happy, and are appropiate in a context of course, and that's literally it. its trial and error not scroll and add to cart
thanks for all of the info Tim, and thank you to anyone that has read this rambling of a random person on the internet <3
Thumbs up Tim. Love how you articulated some of the stuff. I like jordans on other people but cant pull them off. I am a minimalist who is graviteted towards old money style but i have some graphic tees i like and some new balance chunky sneakers i gravitate towards every now and then
