Did the FNAF 2 Movie actually help to solve the game’s timeline? And wait…there’s TWO Mikes now? There’s SO much to unpack with this film and I think it actually helps to solve parts of the timeline for good…

I like to picture Mat reading the script and being so happy that he's retired

The answer: No, it didn't

sorry I've got to say it: Scott Cawthorn, after the first week, directly said that the movies were not canon but just a side project.

Doesn't the Security Logbook debunk this theory? It literally points out that Mike Schmidt and Michael Afton are one and the same.

The movies seem to be representing two halves of a whole for Mike, one being the guilt of losing his brother, the other looking for his father's approval.

can’t wait for when Vanessa’s middle name gets revealed to be Elizabeth

Fnaf lore will outlive everything and everyone

I think it's very clear that Michael Afton's character from the games was divided into multiple characters for the films: his guilt and remorse about his brother's death was given to movie Mike, the part of him who remained obedient to his father and helped him carry on his work was given to movie Michael, and the part of him who wanted to pick up the ruin and devastation his father caused and to take responsibility and atone for his own involvement in that harm was given to movie Vanessa.

14:56 "Just because he isn't the character we play as in FNaF 1 doesn't mean he isn't working there at some point"
I get that, but then what about the it's me hallucinations?

If we're not michael in the game, it wouldn't really make much sense

Security logbook says they are same person. Film just split them in two

Why can't Micheal and Mike BOTH represent Game Micheal?

Like the 2 halves?
One is an older brother remorseful for the death of their younger brother, and the other is a tortured man who believes his dead father is still gonna get him

Scott: The games, movies, and books are all separate universes.
Theorists: THE MOVIE HAS COMPLETELY ALTERED THE GAMES TIMELINE AND THE THINGS SCOTT ALREADY TOLD US WE WERE RIGHT ABOUT!!!!

4:22 I’m gonna stop you right there and repeat a quote from the trailers and movie that clarifies your confusion, “You’re thinking of the franchise location, this is the original”

8:08 The Funtimes don't have souls, they have condensed agony, which is basically the same thing except it means each animatronic doens't have an individual soul corresponding to it
