On Tuesday, September 8, the results of the latest round of the PISA test were released. This test tests 15-year-olds' basic reading skills, math problem-solving abilities, and a basic understanding of science concepts. This test's results were significantly worse than previous ones, despite the fact that the previous ones were also very poor. A decline in performance was also observed among the top performers, almost all of whom, incidentally, are not based in Europe. We'll try to understand what's happening to young people and the education system around the world in the stream.
