It is indeed very sad. Political violence will continue to grow because those who deploy these acts are rewarded. Until we find a way to disincentivise violence, we will continue to have these occurrences. In the case of this woman, who has been said to be affiliated with Sowore, she was at the forefront of calling for justice for him. Who knows if she wanted to switch camps and the only way to deal with her was to have her killed? INEC has failed to exercise its powers to deal with political violence. Those responsible should be declared unfit as a consequence.
