this episode i’m in Eugene, Oregon for the Prefontaine Classic !! this iconic track meet takes place at the home and headquarters of my sponsor Nike. and so our trip starts out in Portland visiting Nike global headquarters and having a tour around the campus with the best tour guide Joe. Over 15 000 people work there every day !! we saw some unbelievably iconic sporting memorabilia such as Roger Bannister’s sub 4 minute mile shoes and Serena Williams’ custom denim US Open outfit. we see behind the scenes in the top secret research lab and get driven around in a golf buggy by none other than Olympic Champion Ashton Eaton. from Portland we drive to Eugene where before the race Nike have a gifting suite with mind slides, Nike vision sunglasses and the custom Prefontaine race kit in the iconic Oregon green. in this episode you get to see me shake out on the Michael Johnson track with a forrest in the middle of it as well as pre meet at Hayward Field - some of the most iconic tracks in the world. i got to meet SO many cool people on this trip and I had so much fun at this meet. i hope you have as much fun watching !! 💚
