The colossal Antonov AN-124 Ruslan arrives at Shannon Airport (SNN / EINN), Ireland, touching down on 24-wheels before taxiing across the airfield to get painted. Then, a second aircraft of the same type takes off.
As the world's largest cargo aircraft, the four-engine Ukrainian heavy airlifter is capable of hauling outsized freight across the globe. Watch the full arrival sequence from the final approach, to taxiing along the runway and into a large hangar for painting. This is then followed by a different Antonov AN-124 taxiing out and departing into the cloud.
The Antonov AN-124 carries the largest payload of any aircraft in the world with a capacity of 120 - 150 tonnes (depending on variation). The only larger aircraft, the Antonov AN-225, was destroyed at the beginning of the war in 2022.
