I wake up after one of the coldest nights I've ever spent outdoors. The thermometer shows -39°C (-38°F), and before I can continue north, the motorcycle needs time and patience to come back to life.

From there, I cross into Norway, where I spend another night above the tree line. After digging out my campsite in the snow, I'm rewarded with a clear Arctic sky and the northern lights dancing overhead.

This is the third episode of my five-part solo winter motorcycle adventure through Scandinavia, filmed alongside a cinematic documentary of the same journey.
