Reactive Arthritis can be caused by food poisoning, STDs, parasites, bacteria.

Relatively accurate calculation of th Earth size? The greek scientist Eratosthenes calculated the Earth circumference to be 40'000 Kms, it is 40'075 Kms exactly. 0.2% margin of error and he did that in 240BC!!!

Had the same as Al Capone.

Love that Columbo discovered the new world, as well as solving all those murders 'n' stuff.

Contrary to popular belief he did not discover Columbus Ohio.

Happy Leif Erikson day

If he travelled to or through the tropics he could have picked up a tropical parasites. That is why European countries have Tropical Medicine Institutes

I was in grade school in the 60s.  We were taught the Columbus did not land in what would become the USA.  And the Vikings landed in what would become Canada,  c1000.

He also died thinking he found a new route to the far east.

Back then, most people had intestinal parasites such as hook worms and whip worms. Tooth decay was a huge problem. There was no soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, floss, warm water to shower, laundry detergent, nothing. People STUNK like you wouldn’t believe. Most  didn’t live past 55.

Great vid sir.

There never was a single pictorial depiction of Columbus, no drawing, no painting.
Everything is artistic speculation!

Columbo also went to England to drum up dosh. He went to Bristol first and told them his idea. They were aware there was a landmass between Europe and the East Indies from their trading activities. They suggested he go to London and talk to the King. The King wrote to Bristol merchants and asked their advice.  Basically they said send him on his way. He went to France where he got the same advice. The Spanish monarchs were his last chance.
It's now obvious why first south then north was called America after Vespucci, Amerigo.

Skip to 13:50. You are welcome 😂

Holy cow, never expected to hear you quote Dr Arnett's name in this video... He was one of my rheumatology professors. 🤣😂🤣

We had a big local govt and chamber of commerce initiative called “Columbus Discovers Columbus” in 1992. Once the citizens of Columbus DID discover the truth about Columbus, the whole thing fizzled and became an embarrassment.

very good lovely sound trak thank you

He was a horrific brute who did indeed do aweful things to the people he meet on his trips. 😢

Here's why Columbus gets the credit, because his colony lasted and was established. The Vikings colony faded out quick and did not last and that's why they don't get the credit.
